Paisley Fire Station Open Day
Avoid the gloomy weather and pay a visit to your local fire
station

The Community Fire Station Open Day will take place on
Saturday 10 September, and provides local
residents the chance to visit their fire station to gain an insight
into the various activities firefighters undertake.
The festivities, taking place between 11am and
4pm, will include many fun activities and quizzes for
children including bouncy castles, face painting and fairground
rides. Firefighters will also be showcasing the equipment that they
use to keep Renfrewshire safe on a daily basis, and there will be
chip pan fire and a simulated Road Traffic Collision demonstration
throughout the day. There will also be a number of static
displays and information stalls from partner organisations.
Any funds raised on the day will support the Firefighters
Charity, Strathclyde Fire & Rescue's Family Support Trust and
various local charities.
