Woman recued by Firefighters
At 19:54 GMT on 22nd May, Fire Crews from Oban responded to a
fire within a 2nd Floor tenement flat in Crombie Street, Oban.
Upon arrival Firefighters wearing Breathing Apparatus entered
the premises and rescued a woman, the only occupant within the
flat.
The woman was treated at the scene and then taken by Ambulance
to nearby Lorne & Islands Hospital suffering from severe smoke
inhalation, where she was later transferred by Air Ambulance to the
Royal Alexandria Hospital where it has been reported her condition
is improving.
There is no further information at this stage.
