Firefighters help rescue Wonder Woman and Snow White

Firefighters help rescue two women dressed in Halloween Wonder Woman and Snow White costumes after they fall from wall onto Saltcoats beach.

Firefighters from Kilwinning and Ardrossan were called out at 1.10am this morning to an incident at Saltcoats beach in North Ayrshire.

The fire crews discovered that two women dressed in Halloween fancy dress as Wonder Woman and Snow White had fallen from a wall onto the beach at Saltcoats. Both women were injured and were receiving assistance from Scottish Ambulance Service personnel.

The women were strapped to fire and ambulance spine boards and carried along the beach to waiting ambulances by firefighters, ambulance crews and Police and Coastguard personnel. The two women were then taken to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment.
