Ongoing blaze in Cardonald area

Firefighters are still working at the scene 

Fire crews are currently tackling a blaze in a multi storey flat in the Cardonald area of Glasgow. Crews are still on the scene and have been deployed to carry out a full search and rescue of the building where approporiate.

Tragically one person has been pronounced dead at the scene. This incident is ongoing and Strathclyde Fire & Rescue are working with the other emergency services to bring the situation under control.
