Springburn to kick off Station Open Day Season
The sun is shining and summer is almost here
Every year SFR invite the public to come along to a
selection of community fire stations to sample station
life. These fun-filled events run throughout the summer and we will
bring you details of when and where these events are
happening.

On Saturday 25th June, Springburn Community Fire Station will
open its doors to the public for this year's station open day.
There are a variety of activities taking place throughout the
day including a chip pan demonstration and a fire service display
as well as visits from community partners such as the Scottish
Ambulance Service and Strathclyde Police. There will also be plenty
to keep the kids occupied, with birds of prey, face painting,
temporary tattoos, balloon modelling and a bouncy castle! As if
this wasn't enough, our very own Preservation Society will be on
hand with a range of vintage vehicles.
The open day will run from 1pm - 4pm why not come along with the
family and enjoy a fun packed day.
