KILMARNOCK Community Fire Station hits the small screen tomorrow (WEDNESDAY) night, as it acts as a backdrop for an episode of children's Gaelic TV programme Breab.

The reality show features six Gaelic-speaking Scots, aged 15-17, who are set a series of challenges based on basic firefighting drills, including hose running, search-and-rescue drills and a Road Traffic Collision.

This episode, which was filmed in July, was organised by Strathclyde Fire & Rescue's  Community Safety Directorate and gives the Service the chance to raise its profile in the Gaelic-speaking community.

The show  features Watch Commander  Ian Duff,  Community Firefighter Carol Cairns, Watch Commander Paul Blackwood and Gaelic-speaking Firefighter Andrew Macleod.

You can catch Breab on BBC Alba channel 168 or freeview channel 8 at 6:05pm.
