Reunion Nights
After a very successful reunion night held in LAUDERS BAR, Glasgow, organised by Joe Booth and all the guys from Green Watch, North West, it was suggested that other members of the REA may want to do the same.
The night was extremely successful with old colleagues meeting up for a few drinks, some reminiscences, catching up on each other’s lives etc. Serving personnel turned up on the night too to see their old gaffers and colleagues, and many a story was told and many a slagging took place. After the initial awkwardness of about two minutes the laughs started and a great night was had by all.
If you are interested in arranging or attending a reunion of your old Watch, Station or workplace colleagues it’s very simple:-
- Pick a suitable date of a few weeks away
- Pick a suitable location
- Contact Joe or Marina and we’ll get it publicised online, by email and by letter
- We’ll advertise it in stations etc to alert serving personnel and help make it a success
- Go along and enjoy a great night
If required, and if available, we could come along and take some photos, get them posted on the website for all old friends to see – or else take your own photos and send them on.
The photo archives are proving very popular with members and serving personnel alike.
