Strathclyde Fire and Rescue have taken the decision to consolidate into a single document its three statutory equality schemes of race, disability and gender and extend this to include religion or belief, sexual orientation and age.
It is part of our duty under the race and gender duties to consult with employees and external stakeholders and to involve those individuals with a disability in the work that we do. As part of this process, we are seeking your views in relation to the development of a single equalities scheme to cover all equalities issues.
