About Our Marine Fire Training Courses

Strathclyde Fire & Rescue works in partnership with Flagship Fire Training Limited to provide Marine Firefighting training. Flagship is one of largest companies in the world dedicated to military and maritime training.

Practical training is carried out in our new hot fire training facility. This has independent fires strategically positioned throughout to maximise the variety of scenarios available. It has been designed to provide the optimum training environment to suit student experience and competence levels within a very strict health and safety regime.

Strathclyde Fire & Rescue and Flagship are committed to a programme of continual improvement by course assessment and student feedback reviews. Furthermore open dialogue with our customer ensures that the training service meets and wherever possible, exceeds requirements.
