On Holiday
It is important to rememeber that whilst on holiday you should
not forget about fire safety. Make you sure you take the time
to undertake a few simple precautions and be prepared in the event
of a fire.
- Read the Fire Instructions in your room
- Walk the fire escape route and check that the path is not
blocked, or exits locked
- Check where the fire extinguishers are
- Check that all windows and doors open properly in your
room
- Check that electrical sockets are not overloaded
- Switch off electrical appliances when not in use
- Never assume that a fire alarm is false, always take action
when a fire alarm sounds
